CONCEPT

A print that washes out. A shirt that stays.

Pure Waste has set the goal of producing clothing with maximum durability and minimal environmental impact. By integrating RE-SHIRT technology, the company is expanding its approach to keeping textiles in circulation for as long as possible.

RE-SHIRT’s MAGIC INK screen printing ink makes it possible to wash out textile prints once the message is no longer relevant. This means that garments can be reused instead of being stored unused in the wardrobe or disposed of after the event.

This opens up new opportunities for brands, agencies, designers and printers. Temporary campaign or event messages can be combined with permanent branding. When the time-limited messages are no longer relevant, they are washed out and the garments remain in circulation for the long term.

Extended textile use significantly reduces textile waste and lowers water consumption and CO₂ emissions – by up to 95% compared to clothing that is only worn once because of an obsolete message.

Easy integration into existing screen printing production

The advantage of MAGIC INK technology lies in its easy processing on conventional screen printing equipment.

Pure Waste currently offers printing exclusively on its own textile products. By the end of 2026, Pure Waste will also make the printing technology available to selected screen printing companies in Europe, the USA and Japan.
